The chocolate journey

It all started on a sunny July day in 2019. What was meant to be a small hobby project during my maternity leave took an unexpected turn – and became the start of a true chocolate adventure.

When I saw the first shiny pralines in my new mold, it was love at first sight. Or rather: first gleam. Something awakened in me. With three small children running around the townhouse in Sollentuna, the kitchen became my experimental workshop. And yes – chocolate ended up everywhere. On children, walls, and even on the ceiling.

But out of the chaos, an idea was born: to create something that couldn't be kept to myself. Something personal, passionate, and handmade – with taste experiences beyond the ordinary.

Thus, Cecilia Nordström Chocolates was born.

When my maternity leave was over, I made a decision: I would go all in. I quit my job and went all in on chocolate. At first, I made everything at home in my kitchen, and every praline sent out through our small webshop was filled with both flavor and heart.

The dream grew – and so did we. In February 2021, we opened our first store in Råsunda, and the chocolate began to spread joy far beyond Sollentuna. Today, we are a small team of chocolate lovers who create by hand, with the same passion as from day one.

You can find our pralines with private customers, hotels, restaurants, and retailers all over Sweden – all with an eye for that little extra.
